Strike free record broken by PRC workers

28th November 2012

Monday's strike by PRC bus drivers ended a long 26 year strike-free spell in SG. I am beginning to feel worried. Those who think it doesn't concern you, please think, it does.

Out of a total population of 5.3 million, 1.5 million are foreigners, working and residing here. Thanks to the PAP liberal labor policy, opening the floodgates with both eyes shut. MNCs & SMEs are also guilty, riding the opportunity to exploit them because they are cheaper in terms of hiring cost.

SG is highly dependable on foreign workers in so many industries namely Healthcare, IT, Finance, Transport, Construction, Services ~ maids included, etc. Think . . . imagine, if these workers begin to hold strikes every now and then to air their unhappiness over salaries or work related issues, SG will be crippled and paralyzed. This is going to be WORLD HEADLINE NEWS. Now also imagine, will foreign investors have confidence to invest in SG? If these companies started to pull out of the country due to these frequent unrests, think again . . . . SG will loose their jobs. They and their families will suffer.

The PAP government is playing with FIRE. The PAP is starting the clock running on a time bomb. So SG, please WISE UP because it affects you and your family. This is also the reason why we the citizens are dead against this liberal foreign labor policy.

Pay workers fairly and justly

28th November 2012

Straits Times

Pay Singaporean workers fairly and justly in accordance to today's cost of living and not giving them fancy job titles but the pay is pathetic.

It has been for decades that MNCs & SMEs have replaced locals with foreign workers who are willing to work for a fraction and longer hours. It has caused wage depression and stagnation. This must be stopped at all cost and we the citizens will keep on pressuring the PAP government to stop this exploitation and get employers to employ literate and skilled Singaporeans instead. Mid skilled foreign workers must be drastically tightened and those currently working here, to deny renewal of work passes. Singapore has more than enough mid skilled workers to sustain the economy.

Double standards?

27th November 2012

Let's see what our capable PAP government and their elite Law Minister, Home Affairs Minister and Transport Ministers going to say about this! A different set of laws and treatment for SG and foreigners??? Every SG is watching very closely now . . . .

Are they insulting the poor and needy?

Why are they doing this? Give without publicizing and give without any conditions.
Jesus taught us: "When you give alms, do not blow a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets to win the praise of others. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right is doing, so that your almsgiving may be secret. And your Father who sees in secret will repay you." Matthew 6:2-4

Singapore GIC caught with their pants down

23rd November 2012

Our government's GIC Real Estate caught with their pants down trying to use paper companies to evade taxes and bypass Korean laws. They are ordered to pay tax. Tsk tsk tsk . . . what a disgrace!

So when the PAP preach about being transparent and accountable, its up to you to believe in them. Hypocrites?

Foul mouth foreign talent caught on video

9th November 2012

* Warning: expletives & vulgar words used

The bank has dismissed a senior Singapore-based banker after a video surfaced on the Internet showing him in an expletive-laced tirade at a construction site adjacent to his home. A former colleague confirmed the banker was shown the door after Barclays executives viewed the clip.

In the clip, Desbarres is shown clad in polo shirt and sandals. He threatens workers at the site, lambasting them as “animals, Chinese [expletive] animals.”
“I’m going to go after you. I’m going to burn your [expletive] house down with your [expletive] people in it,” Desbarres is shown shouting. “I will find your [expletive] family. I can find it very easily, I am a man with resources.” He then is shown hurling a sheet of metal into a pit. Construction workers standing out of range on the opposite side of the pit filmed the outburst. ~ WSJ

Reflect on yourself PAP government

Straits Times

8th November 2012

Congratulation to US re-elect, President Barrack Obama.

You fight the elections "gentleman style", unlike the PAP using unscrupulous tactics like gerrymandering, a stupid unfair GRC system, a biased & controlled main stream media, verbal attacks on the opposition members, indirect vote buying with public funds and many more . . . to your imagination. Last but not least, you lead the the world's largest economy, a super powerhouse with only an annual salary of USD 400,000.

Mr millionaire PM Lee, shame on you and your incompetent ministers - what we are today, citizens are screwed.
You lead just a tiny island, a piece of crumb compare with the US and you write your own fat pay cheque of USD 1.7 million (SGD 2.2 million) annually - the highest paid politician in the world.

You will never ever have my vote! Good Luck Singapore!
